All-Electric Rate

BHEC's also offers an All-Electric Rate. This rate is for households where electricity is the only source of energy for the house. The household must average 1,000 kilowatt-hours per month.
    
The All-Electric Rate is 7.0¢ per kilowatt-hour and is for electric usage throughout the entire year, including air-conditioning, cooking and heating. BHEC will provide all necessary equipment and labor to install the second meter needed for the all-electric rate for a $150 charge. The all-electric rate can not be combined with the heat rate.
