Daniel E. Hutt
Dan Hutt has been manager of Black Hills Electric Cooperative since May of 1995. He has been employed at BHEC for 30 years, beginning his career as a work order clerk. He advanced to engineering technician and later to manager of marketing and member services.
Dan is a graduate of the University of Wyoming and the Management Internship Program of the University of Nebraska.
He has served on numerous rural electric boards, including president of the South Dakota Rural Electric Managers Association. He has been at the forefront of legislative battles to protect and preserve low cost power for cooperative member/owners.
He has been active in the Custer community for more than 30 years.
